Drobnak to Present Recital at 2022 AETYB Congress in Malaga, Spain

Dr. Drobnak has accepted an invitation to present an Artist Recital at the AETYB Congress in Malaga, Spain. He will also be judging the Student Tuba Competition. His recital will take place on 8 July at 5:30 PM.

The Congress is hosted by the Spanish Association of Tubas and Euphoniums.

The Association was formed by a group of Spanish musicians who were at the 2012 International Tuba Euphonium Conference in Linz, Austria. They decided to create a national association for tubas and euphoniums in Spain, in order to promote the practice of these instruments in the Spanish music scene, decided to create a national association, in order to promote the practice of these instruments in Spain. AETYB aims to be an open association where experiences, knowledge, activities, illusions, etc. can be shared.

The first AETYB Congress took place in 2012 and since then successful festivals in Barcelona (2014), Valencia (2016) and the Super Regional ITEA in Madrid (2018) have occurred. Concerts, Master Classes, Conferences, Exhibitions, Contests, Workshops, Recitals, Debates, Lectures, Children's Activities, Performances, etc. are held at these events. AETYB festivals have included the participation of the most renowned national and international artists of the world of the Tuba and Euphonium, with the participation of over four hundred attendees in each of these events.

The AETYB Malaga 2022 Congress will take place from July 6 to 10 at the facilities of the Superior Conservatory of Music of Malaga, with Professor Sergio Rey, Tuba Soloist of the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra, as host of the event.
